High School Boys Hockey Friday Results

Sam High and Justin Thomas scored two goals each to lead top-ranked Hermantown to a 6-2 nonconference high schools hockey victory over Eveleth at Eveleth Hippodrome.

Jackson Lucia and Brady Baker also scored for the Hawks, who out-shot the Golden Bears 47-27.

Hermantown (17-3-1) visits Bemidji at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

Cloquet blitzed Proctor 8-0 in a Lake Superior Conference high school boys hockey game in Proctor. Eight different players scored and junior goaltender Owen Carlson posted his third shutout of the season for the Lumberjacks, who out-shot the Rails 59-9.

Cloquet (13-10) wraps up regular season play with games at Grand Rapids on Tuesday and at home against Hermantown Wednesday.

Nikolai Rajala scored three goals to power Greenway to a 6-1 victory over nonconference St. Paul Johnson at Hodgins Berardo Arena.

The Raiders improved to 10-13 overall and will complete regular season play with Iron Range Conference games at International Falls on Tuesday and at home against Eveleth-Gilbert Friday.
