Duluth East and Hermantown split a high school boys-girls basketball doubleheader Tuesday night at East Gym.
Noah Paulson scored 20 points, and teammates Mattie Thompson, Noah Winesett and Isiah Hendrickson combined for 36 points to lead the Greyhounds boys to a 69-65 victory over the Hawks in the opener.
Slick-shooting guard Peter Soumis had a game-high 34 points for the Hawks.
Meanwhile, the Hawks defeated the Greyhounds 61-46 in the girls game. No stats were available.
