DULUTH, Minn.-This week’s feature is on a guy who has been owning the mound lately, left-handed pitcher Ricky Reynoso. During his outing on July 3rd, the University of the Pacific product shoved for six scoreless innings, recording 6 strikeouts.
Reynoso was back on the bump for Duluth earlier this week locking in a 10-1 victory over Thunder Bay. During that specific start, the Cali kid pounded the strike-zone with a mix of fastballs and changeups, striking out 7 in four quick innings.
In his 19 total innings of work so far this summer, Reynoso has 23 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.89. During his junior season at Pacific, the lefty struck out 51 batters landing him in the top 25 in the conference.
