Husky of the Week: Nic Kent

DULUTH, Minn.- Nic Kent is our featured Husky this week and for good reason. Kent is leading the team in batting with an average of .350, including 5 doubles, 1 home run and 12 RBI.

The Charlottesville, VA native had a standout freshman season at the University of Virginia being named Freshman All American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. Kent was a threat on both sides of the ball with the second highest batting average on his team and 12th highest in the ACC with .337. Defensively, Kent had a .972 fielding percentage recording only 6 errors on 218 chances.
