DULUTH, Minn.- The Huskies are only in their first week but these players have wasted no time getting after it, especially Carter Putz.
The middle infielder has opened up the scoring in back to back games this week with a three run homer against La Crosse on Thursday night. The Notre Dame product finished his freshman season with a .264 average and a .339 slugging percentage. As for his defense, the Kansas City native has a fielding percentage of .947, only recording 2 errors in his 52 games played this spring.
