DULUTH, Minn.- After joining the St. Scholastica staff as athletic director in 2017, Brian Jamros has announced that he will be resigning upon the completion of the 2018-19 school year. Jamros has accepted a position at Centennial High School.
During his time at St. Scholastica, the Athletics Department recorded a 3.3 cumulative GPA in Fall 2017, while also winning its ninth consecutive Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Jerome Kruse All-Sports Trophy for the 2017-2018 athletic season.
For the first time, St. Scholastica played host to a NCAA postseason event when the 2018 Midwest Baseball Regional took place at Wade Stadium. Jamros was also able to secure a record number of corporate partners and set standardized practice times for the varsity athletic teams. He recently hired the school’s first-ever full-time Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach and was named to the NCAA Division III Championships Committee.
