DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Huskies have signed Max Fecske to the coaching staff. Fecske, 25, began his baseball career at Harvard Westlake High School in Southern California. Upon graduation, Fecske took his talents to Glendale College and Webster University to play D3 ball.
As for his coaching experience, Fecske is currently a graduate manager at Cal State Northridge. Prior to Cal State, Fecske coached at Notre Dame High School where his team was ranked No. 1 national from March-April 2018. It was during this time he also had the ability to coach two All-American players and the second overall pick in the 2017 MLB draft.
In an interview with the Duluth Huskies organization the young coach said, “I am most looking forward to joining a winning culture and continuing the success that the Huskies have had under Greg Culver and Tyger Pederson.” The Huskies home opener is Sunday June 2 at 3:05pm at Wade Stadium.
