CLOQUET, Minn.- Tim Pokornowski graduated from Cloquet high school in 2018 and continued on to play football at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Before Tim, it was his older brother Evan. But the Lumberjacks weren’t done with the Pokornowski name just yet because they still had another brother filled with talent and that is Markus Pokornowski.
Markus has been an explosive member of Cloquet football’s backfield for the past three seasons and now in his senior year, he is leaving it all out on the field for a chance to close out his high school career with a state title. In the last three games alone, the running back has racked up a total of 465 yards and four touchdowns with an average of 155 rushing yards per game.
Pokornowski and the rest of the Lumberjacks face Chisago Lakes this weekend in the race for state.
